After 5 years the boats paintwork started to look tired, the shine had gone and in places it was looking very thin. The roof was also dark blue which soaked up the heat and meant on very hot days you could not touch it and it warmed the interior to a level that took hours to cool, meaning sleeping was hard! So after looking for a decent painter we settled on Blue Haven Marine at Hillmorton Wharf.
The paint scheme was revised to include a cream roof, some decoration on the Bow and Stern, our boat number added with waterways logo. An additional exhaust silencer was also added to quieten things down for us whilst we cruised along.
Ron Hough a well know signwritter and one of the last boat painters (now passed to a better place) replaced the name panel and also added roses to the interior galley doors.
