So its almost two years since, Kay passed to chug along in the heavens, in some ways it seems like yesterday in others a lifetime ago.
My world has changed, I have followed the instructions from Kay to live and love life, she told me that if I found another it would be ok that I could find happiness and more. So without looking, I have found Verity, she understands the pain of loss as her husband passed some 3 years ago, we found solace, understanding, compassion, support and ……. love!! Kay knows her, they went to school together and were great friends after all, so I am sure she would approve….
So I have a second chance to share life, to live life and so much more. The 17th October see’s us marry, we have a new home, I move in days.
So to carry on a theme that the boat has always shown, life is too short, so I welcome my new world, one with many memories and times that I will never forget and will always be grateful for the time I have had with Kay, I wonder were Verity and I will chug, we will see
