The 16th of August saw my best friend, lover and first mate, leave this reality to travel to places anew. Kay was my world and so much more, but she is free from pain and suffering, she bravely fought cancer for four years enduring multiple chemo sessions and types, operations and more.
My world will never be the same again, but I promised her I would carry on, I would use the boat and travel the canals, she will always be with me in my mind and soul.
The adventures will follow in time, I miss her so much already but I will endure the pain and remember my promise.
