Its been a strange few years, Kay being diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, Covid, loosing Dad, our dog and Mum now in care.
Kay is doing well, despite the side effects of Chemo, a few operations and “bits” removed but we are still in the hands of fate and more. However we struggle onwards.
The plan is now to spend a good long break on the boat from July until mid August, Kay should be in chemo respite for that time and we will see what the future holds sometime in June.
So were will we go, we may try to get to the River Weaver via the Anderton Boat lift or somewhere completely different, many factors will need to be taken into account as we approach the marina exit, so we will wait and see.
