So 2020, the year of final retirement for Kay, the plans for many trips, China F1 for David, Croatia for the both of us and a long trip afloat to the Anderton boat lift, one of our bucket list places to visit with the boat.
The year started well, the boat left the water in a dry dock for me to inspect, reblack, wash and polish, exhausting but it looked good.
Then came Covid19….. the China trip bit the dust, Croatia cancelled and rightly lockdown has meant that we cannot visit the boat and stay overnight. Hopefully this will all change soon and we can get away, chug away from the mooring and restart the retirement!!
